This notice explains the cookies and similar browser storage that SynNotate uses. SynNotate is a private, sign-in application rather than a public marketing site, so it uses only what is needed to sign you in and run securely.
What we use
- Essential / authentication: when you sign in, your session is kept in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in between visits and page loads. Without this you cannot use the app.
- Security: storage that helps protect your session and requests from abuse.
What we do not use
SynNotate does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not share browser storage with advertisers.
Managing cookies and storage
You can block or clear cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Because the items above are essential, clearing them will sign you out and the app will not work until you sign in again. If we add any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this notice and provide a way to choose.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the service evolves. When we make a material change we will update the date above.
