Last updated: 8 August 2026

This manual is published in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000 (PAIA). It explains how to request access to records held in connection with SynNotate, a product of Celagenix Business Advisory (t/a Celagenix Agency).

The responsible body

Celagenix Business Advisory (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2015/359792/07), 4th Floor West Wing, Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton, Johannesburg, 2196. Telephone +27 12 755 5528; email popi@celagenix.com.

Information Officer

Our Information Officer, Martin Louw (Deputy: Johann Koen), is responsible for encouraging compliance with PAIA and POPIA and is the point of contact for a PAIA request. Contact popi@celagenix.com or the registered address above.

The Information Regulator’s Guide

The Information Regulator has published a Guide on how to use PAIA. It is available from the Regulator at www.inforegulator.org.za.

Records available without a request

Our public website content, marketing materials, and these legal pages (privacy, terms, cookies) are available without a formal PAIA request.

Records held, by category

  • Account and subscriber records (registration and billing details).
  • Workspace content held in an operator capacity on behalf of customers (entities, projects, tasks, ideas, leads, notes, files).
  • Corporate, financial and tax records.
  • Employee and contractor records.
  • Marketing and correspondence records.

Some categories are held subject to confidentiality, legal privilege, third-party rights, or the grounds for refusal set out in PAIA.

How to request a record

Complete the prescribed PAIA Form 2 (available from the Information Regulator) and send it to the Information Officer at popi@celagenix.com. Describe the record and the right you seek to exercise, and provide contact details for our response. We aim to respond within 30 days of receiving a request that meets the Act’s requirements; where we refuse, we give written reasons.

Fees

A request fee and, where applicable, an access fee may apply, calculated according to the fee structure prescribed under the PAIA regulations.

Access to your own personal information

If you are asking for the personal information we hold about you, the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) usually provides a faster route (section 23). See our Privacy Policy for how to make that request and your other rights.

Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa):
